Geoarchaeological sedimentary approach

The geoarchaeology sediment analysis usually goes into more detail than the regular archaeological analysis and serves as preparation for the micromorphological assessment of the thin sections. This should be carried out in the original state of the profile if possible. If this is not possible, this can also be done subsequently by the geoarchaeology department at IPNA, but the samples must be well packaged, transported and stored, especially in the case of moist sediments.
